Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
Colossians 3:23

Success for the Day

Have you ever thought about what daily workplace success would look like, or what it would feel like? Imagine coming home day after day from your workplace with that wonderful inner glow that comes from knowing you’ve successfully achieved your goal! To experience this victory feeling on a daily basis, though, you have to first set yourself a daily goal; unfortunately, too many workers don’t bother to do this, and therefore don’t get to taste that glow of satisfaction. While it’s understandable that the average person may miss out on the taste of victory in this way, Christians obedient to God’s command can expect to experience it every day. How so?

Well, our whole life’s objective is to do what God’s Word says we ought to do. If we were to set that as our daily workplace goal and do it, we would come home on a daily basis having tasted the exhilarating feeling of success. Imagine God’s blessing and approval on each day’s work, the joy of hearing him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

So, what exactly is God asking us Christians to do when it comes to the workplace? “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people,” he says in Colossians 3:23; and again, in Ephesians 6:7, “Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”

DO this and you WILL experience his blessing. Try it . . . the results will amaze you!
